ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI- Alvarez is proud to unveil a new series of guitars for 2016, designed and crafted to capture the perfect tone for two very specific and classic genres of music: Alvarez Jazz and Blues Series
“Calling this the Jazz and Blues Series goes deeper for us than a name,” Says Chris Meikle, Alvarez Head of Development and Senior Vice President at St. Louis Music. “Most of our guitars are versatile instruments with a more modern approach to their design and voicing, but this year we had the opportunity to really focus on a particular type of music, and give musicians that live the jazz and blues genre the perfect tool for their trade.”
Blues players will find the acoustics in the series hard to put down, including the Delta 00 (“Double O”) and the Blues 51, which features an arched rosewood back. Both models are vintage all the way, with back shifted bracing, V profile necks, wider finger spacing, classic bridge designs and traditional “teardrop” sunbursts.
For Jazz and electric blues musicians, the AAT models are versatile arch top guitars with superb build quality and featuring Duncan Designed pick-ups. The AAT comes in a variety of options, including a single and double cutaway semi acoustic with mahogany center block (ATT33+34) and a single cutaway hollow, deep body (ATT35). The guitars come in Tobacco Sunburst, Burgundy, and Walnut finishes.
Dealers are encouraged to visit the St. Louis Music NAMM booth in Anaheim this year to learn more or call their St Louis Music Representative at 800-727-4512 or email at [email protected].
