ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – Alvarez is thrilled to have received Music Inc. Magazine’s “Editor’s Choice Award” for its AAT archtop guitars, the first electric guitar offered from Alvarez in several decades, and part of the new, genre-specific guitar line, the Jazz & Blues Series.
“Winning this award motivates us to work even harder,” Says Chris Meikle, Head of Development at Alvarez and Senior Vice President of St. Louis Music. “The quality of our AAT guitars come from a very structured, and continual process of R&D which we have developed for over the three years. Receiving such recognition with our first offering of electric archtop instruments means we are doing something right, and that inspires us greatly.”
The AAT models are versatile archtop guitars with superb build quality and featuring Duncan Designed pick-ups. The AAT comes in a variety of options, including a single and double cutaway semi acoustic with mahogany center block (ATT33+34) and a single cutaway hollow, deep body (ATT35). The guitars come in Tobacco Sunburst, Burgundy, and Walnut finishes.
