ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – St. Louis Music is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Baughman to the position of Product Manager of E.K. Blessing. Baughman becomes the first overall steward of the legendary E.K. Blessing brand since its acquirement by SLM in 2015.

Baughman is a 27-year veteran in the industry, with experience in retail, management, marketing, and manufacturing. He has a deep connection with music, achieving a Masters of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of Michigan.
Baughman performed professionally into the early 2000s, when he began focusing on instrument sales, becoming a top retailer in brass instruments and parts for International Musical Suppliers. Baughman previously held a Sales Manager position at Schilke Music Products, the storied Chicago trumpet manufacturer, in which he played a critical role for 13 years.
As Product Manager of Blessing, Baughman will be shepherding every aspect of the brand, from product mix and development, to message, direction and long term strategy.
