ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI- After a strong unveiling earlier this year, Dixon is thrilled to announce that its ultra-mobile Little Roomer kit is shipping to stores across the US. The Little Roomer is a unique approach to the compact kit, utilizing the cajon as a bass drum.
“The Little Roomer got some great artist feedback after we revealed it at NAMM,” Says Jim Uding, Dixon Brand Manager. “We’ve made some slight adjustments since the beginning of the year and are now fully stocked and ready to ship. The Little Roomer offers twists that our players will be able to experiment with and customize and we’re really excited to see and hear what kind of creativity and performance it will inspire.
The Dixon Little Roomer redefines the compact kit by expanding the cajon into a full, ultra-mobile drum set. The cajon combines with Dixon’s Cajon Pedal Plus to create a bass drum, while a hi-hat stand and a cymbal stand accommodate toms, cymbals and a unique jingle snare that goes perfectly with Roomer’s low volume sonic identity. A floor tom completes the set.
