ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – Alvarez Guitars is thrilled to announce the release of Regent School Series. Guitars specially designed for younger players in mind. The guitars made their debut this year at Winter NAMM 2018 in Anaheim California.
“There aren’t so many good quality student guitars on the market, especially for younger kids,” Says Chris Meikle, Senior VP at St. Louis Music and head of Alvarez development. “They’re often toy-like quality, or younger players are left to choose travel guitars that have been designed to be played by adults. Regent School Series bridges the gap by offering a great quality student guitar designed especially for the most important players of all, our children”
The Regent School Series shape is a fractional sized OM, chosen for its balance, ergonomics and looks. The nut width is reduced from standard size to 1” 5/8 (41.6mm) and the neck has been custom shaped to be comfortable for smaller hands. They have a Sitka top and Mahogany back and sides and available in steel string or nylon. Color options are Natural Satin or burgundy Satin.
