ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI- Dixon is proud to unveil two new kits for 2016 that offer unique and innovative approaches to the compact drum: The Dixon Jetset Plus and Roomer Kits.
“We want to make sure that if people want to play a drumset their way, Dixon can make that possible,” Says Jim Uding, Dixon Brand Manager. “Both of our compact drum kits offer twists that our players will be able to experiment with and customize. We’re really excited to see and hear what kind of creativity Jetset and Roomer will inspire.”
The Jetset Plus is a compact 5 piece drumset with excellent multifunction properties. Each drum can be flipped over to reveal an underside of nylon mesh drumhead, essentially transforming into a practice, low volume set. The Jetset Plus can also be configured to play standing up, featuring adjustable heights on both the toms and snare. Three drumkits in one, the Jetset is available in three finishes, red sparkle, deep blue sparkle, and orange sparkle.
The Dixon Roomer redefines the compact kit again by expanding the cajon into a full, ultra-mobile drum set. The cajon combines with Dixon’s Cajon Pedal Plus to create a bass drum, while a hi-hat stand accommodates a tom, cymbals and a unique jingle snare that goes perfectly with Roomer’s low volume sonic identity. A floor tom completes the set.
