ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – P. Mauriat is proud to announce the addition of the PMT-75 Custom trumpet to its ever-expanding line of musical instruments. The first in a series of new trumpets, the PMT-75 represents the culmination of years in research and design with P. Mauriat’s leading trumpet artists. The PMT-75 debuted at the 2018 Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California.
“I’ve been working with the P. Mauriat trumpet line for nearly a decade and nothing has got me more excited than this latest series of trumpets,” says Adam MacBlane, Communications Director, Band & Orchestra at St. Louis Music. “This combination of design and special alloy results in an amazingly versatile trumpet.”
The PMT-75 Custom series is on the cutting edge of today’s manufacturing capability by its use of a titanium copper alloy. This alloy produces a lush, complex harmonic sound and is incredibly responsive to tone production, yielding a vibrant and efficient player experience. These trumpets are also customizable based on the needs of the player. The bell is detachable and is available in both yellow brass or titanium copper. These trumpets are also available with either a detachable yellow brass leadpipe or titanium copper leadpipe.
