ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI – Traditionally, Baritone Horns can be difficult to find, especially at an affordable price. Responding to an increased demand for Big Brass instruments, Zonda has created a Baritone that is not only affordable, but also sounds great and is designed with a playability that will inspire new students: The Zonda ZBH-101.
“For Zonda, the ZBH-101 is an extension of what’s at our core,” Says Craig Denny, Vice President – Band & Orchestra at St. Louis Music. “It’s important to us to provide instruments that have a lot of value to the retailer and the player, but also bring instruments to the market that are not readily available. The ZBH-101 is not only very accessible, but also designed with a smaller British bore to give students an excellent beginning player experience.”
The ZBH-101 is a three-valve Bb horn, with traditional Zonda styling; a gold brass lead pipe and nickel silver outer slides. It also features a hybrid valve guide within the valve itself to maximize durability and deliver smooth, fluid action. It has a .504 British bore and a bell diameter of 8 3/8”, made with yellow brass and finished in a gold epoxy lacquer. Its pistons and valves are made with stainless steel.
Includes a deluxe hardshell cordura-covered case, polishing cloth, mouthpiece, premium valve oil, and slide grease. MSRP: $1295
